This is a hand painted bamboo trivet with white and violet pansy flowers. It is a thin, light weight bamboo trivet. It is pretty and functional. It would make a great gift or a treat for your own kitchen.
I used acrylic paint which I allowed to air cure for 24 hours. Then it was given three coats of varnish on the front and one on the underside. If it needs to be cleaned you can just wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash with a mild dish detergent.
